Our Higgins’ Study backdrop is specially created for the musical My Fair Lady. It portrays the office of Henry Higgins, the phoneticist who helps the Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle in perfecting her speech. The backdrop design depicts an interior view of the study, which has clay-colored walls, paintings, bookshelves, and ornate moldings. A balustrade is visible on the upper level, where more books are also stored in shelves. The study has a large curved window that is partially covered with blue-gray drapery.
